The Quick Launch toolbar was introduced in Windows 98 and was carried until the the debut of Windows Vista. Quick Launch contains shortcuts of applications as it’s name says to launch the application quickly in just one click. In Windows 7, the Quick Launch toolbar was removed or disabled in favor of the pinning of applications to the taskbar. If you still can’s get over with the Quick Launch you can enable it with few clicks and steps.
Here’s how:
Right-click on your Windows 7 taskbar click on Toolbars and click on New toolbar… (as shown below)
In the folder selection dialogue box enter the following and click Select Folder.
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
The quick launch toolbar will be enabled in your taskbar. Remove the title of the toolbar by unlocking the taskbar and right-clicking on the divider, uncheck the “Show tittle” and “Show Text.” Use the dividers to arrange thee toolbars then lock the taskbar again
