While waiting for the the Windows Mobile Phone 7 series (which is rumored to invade the market in this year’s last quarter) let me bring you back to reality (haha). Let me show you some Windows Mobile Phones that was introduced to the windows7ako fans during the meet up last February.
For the elite class, there’s the HTC HD2 which has the largest screen I’ve ever seen for a mobile phone with a touch capability. It has a 4.3 inches capacitive screen, Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD2850 1.0 GHz processor . Upon seeing it, i just said I want that phone but it’s not possible for me since it costs more or less than Php40,000.00 and it’s out of my budget! :p Full specs here…
For the middle class, there’s the Samsung Omnia phone series particularly the Omnia Lite. It has also a Windows Mobile 6.5 powered by SEC S3C6410 800Mhz processor. It’s a full touch screen phone with WiFi capabilities for easy web access anytime anywhere (of course provided there’s a WiFi hotspot haha), 3G capability and a 3MP camera. Price range for this smart phone is from Php12,000.00 – Php13,000.00 Full specifications here..
The cheapest and most affordable of all, the Cherry Mobile Eclipse and proudly a Philippine brand! Though this brand is a new player in the market I think it has covered the basics for a smart phone. It has a 416 Mhz processor, WiFi capability, a 2 MP camera and for those who wants to enjoy the best of 2 mobile networks, this phone has a dual SIM capabilities. It also carries the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 as its operating system. According to Cherry Mobile Philippines, the Eclipse will be seen at your favorite cell phone stores soon. Amazingly this phone can be purchased at a very low price of Php9,999.00.
Now choose your phone and remember be smart and always consider your budget! :)
